What is a Kiddush?

A Kiddush is a festive, informal catered buffet enjoyed at the conclusion of morning services on Shabbat and holidays.

 

How to sponsor a Kiddush

Sponsor a Kiddush to honor the memory of a loved one, commemorate a Yartzeit, celebrate a birthday, anniversary, special occasion, commemorate the Yahrzheit of a loved or for any other reason.

If you would like to sponsor a kiddush in honor of a special occasion or life cycle event, in memory of a loved one, celebrate a birthday, anniversary, to commemorate a Yartzeit, in appreciation of a friend or just because you feel like it!

we have a number of options to make any occasion a truly memorable and meaningful one.

You can sponsor and prepare a Kiddush with the help of your family and friends. Speak to the Rabbi to know what can be brought in.

Alternatively for a fee, the preparation of Kiddush may be left to the Chabad staff.

Kiddush Catering Menus

1. Basic $125

Serves 30-40 people

Kiddush Wine / Grape Juice * Challah * 1 Fish Choice (Gefilte fish, tuna or herring)

Chips or crackers * 2 dips * olives & pickles * drinks * paper goods

2. Silver Option $180

Serves 30-40 people

Kiddush Wine / Grape Juice * Challah * 2 Fish Choices ( Gefilte fish, white fish, herring, tuna)

3. Gold Option (Fish) $250

Serves 30-40 people

Kiddush Wine / Grape Juice * Challah * Lox * 1 Fish Choice ( Gefilte fish, herring, tuna)

*Chips or crackers * 2 dips * 2 salads * olives & pickles * drinks * paper goods

* Cakes and cookies * fruits *Hot Cholent

4. Gold Option (Meat) $250

Kiddush Wine / Grape Juice * Challah * cold cut platters (salami/ bologna/ turkey) * condiments

*Chips or crackers * 2 dips * 2 salads * olives & pickles * drinks * paper goods

5. Platinum Option (meat) $300

Serves 30-40 people

Kiddush Wine / Grape Juice * Challah * cold cut platters (corn beef/ pastrami/ salami/ bologna/ turkey)

* Condiments *Chips or crackers * 3 dips * 3 salads * olives & pickles * drinks * paper goods

* Cakes and cookies * fruits *Hot Cholent

6. Platinum Option (fish) $300

Serves 30-40 people

* 1 fish choice (Gefilte fish, white fish salad, herring, tuna)
